Data & Performance Optimisation Review

Independent senior advisory for trusted data, leaner operations and measurable performance — designed for Nordic and European organisations.

Nordic organisations are among the most digitally advanced in Europe. Yet digital adoption does not automatically lead to digital performance. An organisation may run modern tools while figures still diverge, reporting stays slow, and critical processes depend on local spreadsheets. This review examines the relationship between your decisions, data, processes, indicators, technology and ownership — to turn digital adoption into measurable performance.

Three levels depending on your need — see below. The engagement starts after a first exchange that frames your need.

The question

Digital adoption is not digital performance

The review addresses one central question: how can the organisation use its existing data, systems and internal knowledge more effectively to improve decisions, productivity and long-term resilience? It is a focused senior review — not a software sales process, not a theoretical digital strategy, not a large transformation programme imposed before the organisation understands its actual needs. It helps management decide what to preserve, improve, simplify, automate, stop — and where future investment is justified.

Framework

Six connected dimensions

The question is examined across six dimensions, each assessed against your reality:

Decision effectiveness

Do managers receive the information they need at the moment a decision must be made?

Data trust

Are the figures accurate, consistent and traceable enough to support important decisions?

Operational efficiency

How much time is lost to manual reporting, repeated entry, correction and reconciliation?

Technology value

Are current systems creating measurable business value, or merely transferring complexity?

Organisational ownership

Are responsibilities for data, indicators, processes and tools clearly understood?

Future readiness

Is the organisation ready for interoperability, automation, analytics, sustainability reporting and responsible AI?

Context

Designed for Nordic and European realities

The offer does not assume Nordic organisations are digitally immature — it starts from the opposite position. Many have already adopted modern systems, migrated to the cloud, digitalised finance, introduced e-invoicing and trialled AI. Yet advanced tools can coexist with inconsistent data definitions, fragmented landscapes, local spreadsheets, limited ERP/CRM adoption, unclear ownership, poor cross-border comparability, insufficiently governed AI use, and weak links between operational and sustainability information. This review targets exactly that gap — with attention to cross-border comparability, sustainability data, responsible AI and the sober, efficient use of existing systems.

Deliverables

From data to trusted performance

We distinguish facts from assumptions, flag every unverified figure, and never recommend automation on data that is not trusted and governed.

Data map & flows

Sources, flows, uses and owners: where the same information is entered several times, and where it escapes control.

Trust scorecard

Your critical data rated on completeness, consistency, timeliness and traceability.

Indicator catalogue

Each indicator challenged: does it drive a decision? Keep, redefine, harmonise, automate, replace or remove.

AI & data governance readiness

Ownership, access, third-party and AI tools, human oversight and accountability — assessed before any scaling.

Optimisation matrix

Each action placed by value and effort, starting with the quick wins that restore trust.

Roadmap & benefits

Prioritised recommendations across four horizons, with benefits read on five planes (decision, financial, human, technology, sustainability) as targets to measure.

Levels

Three levels, by need

Data & Performance Snapshot

€2,500 excl. VAT

A focused check to test a hypothesis or unblock a situation.

Targeted analysis of a limited scope, key findings and first recommendations. 1–3 weeks, mainly remote.

Data Performance Programme

On request

Implement and track results.

Roadmap delivery, data cleansing, governance, indicator redesign, tool selection, change management and benefits tracking. 3–12 months, mainly remote with targeted hybrid interventions.

Method

Evidence before technology

A Data initiative should not begin with technology, but with the decisions the organisation needs to improve. Before recommending a dashboard, ERP, CRM, automation platform or AI solution, the review examines what management is trying to achieve, which decisions are critical, which processes create value, what information is required, and where uncertainty or delay occurs. Technology-neutral and supplier-independent.

Delivered mainly remotely, with targeted hybrid interventions where useful. Working language: English; local-language participation can be arranged with your teams or specialist partners.

Included scope: up to twelve main documents, five 60-minute interviews, one primary functional scope, a 90-minute closing session, and a ten working-day email clarification period. Beyond that, the engagement is extended by written amendment or requalified to a higher service level.

Terms of the engagement

What it is, and is not

What it is

Simpler, more reliable, faster management information. Data connected to decisions. A sound base before any BI, automation or AI project.

What it is not

Not a software project or tool selection, not more dashboards, not an outcome guarantee, not legal or regulatory expertise on data protection.

FAQ

Questions you're likely to ask

The Snapshot to unblock a focused situation; the Review for a complete analysis and roadmap; the Programme to be supported through implementation and benefits tracking.

No. You designate a sponsor to facilitate access and document sharing.

No. We are supplier-independent and often recommend making better use of existing systems before considering a new tool.

No. Benefits are expressed as targets to measure; where reliable quantification is missing, we state how to measure it.

We assess AI readiness and governance against your specific use case and European expectations — human oversight, accountability — rather than as a generic compliance label.

It is the international edition of the same service, extended for Nordic and cross-border realities: six dimensions, AI & data governance, cross-border comparability and sustainability data.

After a first exchange, we agree scope, level and terms. Payment is by invoice before the engagement starts. Prices are shown excl. VAT; for EU B2B clients, reverse-charge VAT applies.
