2. Privacy policy (GDPR)

Data controller

No Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been appointed; given the limited volume of processing and absence of large-scale special category processing, this designation is not mandatory under GDPR art. 37. The personal data contact is reachable at the above address.

Data collected and legal bases

• Contact form: name, first name, email, phone, company, message. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (GDPR art. 6.1.b).
• Server logs (host LWS): IP address, user-agent, timestamp. Legal basis: legal obligation (French Postal and Electronic Communications Code art. L34-1) and legitimate interest in site security.

The site uses no audience-measurement cookies, no third-party trackers (no Google Analytics, Tag Manager, advertising pixels).

Retention

• Contact messages: 3 years from last exchange (CNIL recommendation — B2B prospecting).
• Client files: 10 years from end of fiscal year (French Commercial Code art. L123-22).
• Server logs: 1 year (CPCE art. L34-1).

Your GDPR rights

Under EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, you have rights of access (art. 15), rectification (art. 16), erasure (art. 17), restriction (art. 18), portability (art. 20), opposition (art. 21). Transfer outside the EU

No personal data is transferred to third countries outside the European Union, except for the chatbot service (see section 2bis below).

2 bis. Conversational assistant (AI chatbot)

The site provides a conversational assistant named Mira, powered by AI (Claude model from Anthropic, hosted via Cloudflare technical infrastructure).

Data processed: message content, IP address (during session, for anti-abuse rate limiting, kept 1 hour in aggregated counter), email address and timestamped consent (requested before the first message, to limit abusive use via a per-address quota — aggregated counter kept ~24 hours — and to contact you back if you wish: treated as a contact request, kept 12 months maximum, unsubscribe anytime), interface language (FR/EN, stored in your sessionStorage).

Retention: Messages are never stored on our servers. They transit in real time through Anthropic's service (United States, framed by EU Standard Contractual Clauses). Browser-side, history is in your sessionStorage and erased on tab close.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest in providing orientation and preventing abusive use, including the per-email quota (GDPR art. 6.1.f). Any commercial follow-up from the email address relies on your consent (checkbox, GDPR art. 6.1.a), withdrawable at any time.

Sub-processors: Anthropic PBC (USA) — provider of the Claude model — framed by SCCs; Cloudflare Inc. (USA) — Workers infrastructure — framed by SCCs.

Your choices: Use of the chatbot is entirely optional. You may close the widget at any time. To exchange without AI intermediary, write to contact@carrefourduweb.eu.

3. Cookies

The site carrefourduweb.eu uses no audience-measurement cookies and no third-party trackers. Only strictly necessary cookies (session, security) may be deposited; they are exempted from consent collection under article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and CNIL guidelines of 17 September 2020 (deliberation 2020-091).

Under French Consumer Code articles L.612-1 et seq., in case of unresolved dispute, consumers may use the free mediation service:
